Amaryllis joined the corporate communications team of Edelman Brussels in March 2022, while finishing her Aberdeen University master’s in politics and international relations online, due to Covid-related sanitary restrictions. At Edelman, she supports international clients in a wide variety of activities. Her client portfolio includes, among others, BT, HP, PayPal, Shell and Voi Technology. She also participates in policy-related projects for Novolex and Mars Veterinary Health.
Before joining Edelman, she worked at the Brussels Parliament where she oversaw analysing of parliamentary discussions. Amaryllis also became a member of the volunteer research policy team at the United Nations Space Generation Advisory Council. She developed policy recommendations along with her teammates. Amaryllis is bilingual: French and English. In parallel with her studies, she was part of the debate club society and dedicated her master’s thesis to international relations paradigms in regard to outer space regulations. In this work, she compared the neorealist and liberal institutionalist paradigms and received a mark of 95% for this work.
Throughout her studies, she developed a passion for copywriting, which she had the chance to demonstrate through the EPACA essay contest. Amaryllis ended 2nd in the 2022 essay writing competition, answering this question: “What challenges and opportunities face the EU public affairs sector in terms of diversity, inclusion, and well-being ?”
