Kalina Bozhkova is part of the Healthcare team at Edelman in Brussels and supports clients on topics related to pharmaceutical, medtech, digital health and data policy.
Prior to joining Edelman, Kalina worked for MedTech Europe, the European Trade Association representing the medical technology industry, where she led the advocacy and communication strategies on digital health, research & innovation, market access and ethics & compliance.
Before that, Kalina worked at the EU Affairs office of Microsoft in Brussels, where she joined the EU Philanthropy team to coordinate the relationships and activities with EU youth organizations around digital skills and entrepreneurship. Later on, she joined the Digital policy team and worked on data protection, cybersecurity, AI and healthcare policy issues.
Kalina holds a degree in International Economic Relations and European Integration at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria and an Academic Immersion in Political Science and Development Economics from the University of Arkansas, USA.
She is a native Bulgarian speaker, fluent in English, an intermediate French user and a basic user of Dutch.
