Ramon Calot EDLM BRUX

Ramón Calot Alventosa

Ramón supports the Government Advocacy team. He is a jurist invested in European public affairs with a specialization in public governance and market integration. He has additional knowledge in Data Protection.

Before Edelman, Ramón worked in another consultancy in Brussels where he helped companies to navigate the internal market through the current and upcoming EU legislation. He worked as well for the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg, the Council of the EU in the Home and Justice affairs department, and for the Legal Service Unit of the European Committee of the Regions.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from CEU – Cardenal Herrera University (Valencia) and a Master's in European Union Law from Maastricht University. In the context of public governance and market integration, his Master's thesis focused on political micro-targeting in contrast with the General Data Protection Regulation. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.
